Who we are

This site is operated by HAS Rice Pakistan, a rice exporter based in Karachi. When this policy says "we", "us", or "Pakistan Rice", we mean HAS Rice Pakistan.

What we collect

We only collect what you give us, plus a small amount of technical data about how you use the site.

1. Information you submit

Our quote and contact forms ask for:

• Name and company
• Email and phone number (with country code)
• Destination country
• Variety, quantity, packaging, incoterm, payment terms, and delivery timeline
• Any notes you add

Every field is used to prepare an accurate quote. We do not resell, rent, or trade this information.

2. Automatic technical data

When your form submission is processed, our server records the IP address and approximate geographic country (from Cloudflare headers), the page the form was submitted from, the referring URL, and the browser's user agent. This helps us detect abuse, filter spam, and understand which pages generate buyer interest.

3. Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-HVY3GMK83H) to measure aggregate traffic, popular pages, and campaign performance. GA4 drops first-party cookies in your browser and sends anonymised events to Google. We do not collect personally identifiable information through GA4.

If you arrive from a Google Ads click, GA4 records the click identifier (gclid) and we attach it to any quote you submit so we can measure which ads produce real enquiries.

How we use your information

• Responding to you. We reply to quote requests by email and, when you tick WhatsApp, by WhatsApp to the number you provided.
• Follow-up. We may contact you about related quotes, new crop availability, and freight changes that affect prices you asked about. You can ask us to stop at any time.
• Fraud and abuse prevention. We screen submissions for spam using the technical data above. Repeated abusive traffic may be blocked at the network level.
• Website improvement. Aggregate analytics tell us which pages need better content, not who visited them.

Where your data is stored

Form submissions are delivered to a Google Workspace account owned by HAS Rice Pakistan (Google Sheets + Gmail). Technical processing happens on Cloudflare (hosting, form relay, bot filtering) and Google (Analytics). Both providers operate internationally; data may be processed on servers outside Pakistan.

We keep quote submissions indefinitely because a rice trade conversation often resumes 6 to 18 months later. If you want your record removed, email us and we will delete it within 30 days.

Your choices

• Don't submit a form. Everything on this site is readable without a form. Only submit if you want a quote or reply.
• Block analytics. Any standard ad or tracker blocker will stop GA4 from loading. The site works the same without it.
• Opt out of follow-up. Reply "unsubscribe" to any email from us, or send the same word on WhatsApp, and we will stop contacting you.
• Request deletion. Email [email protected] with "Delete my data" and the email address you used.

Cookies

We set two types of cookies:

• Analytics. GA4 sets _ga and _ga_<ID> cookies (2 years) to measure unique visits.
• Session storage. Google Ads click identifiers are held in browser session storage (cleared when you close the tab) so we can attribute a submitted quote to the ad that brought you.

We do not use cross-site advertising cookies.

Children

This is a business-to-business site for rice importers and distributors. It is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from minors.

Changes to this policy

If we make a material change, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Minor clarifications will not be announced.
