China (Hainan) International Winter Trade Fair Showcases Diverse Product Range
The 26th China (Hainan) International Winter Trade Fair for Tropical Agricultural Products is currently underway in Haikou, the capital of Hainan province in South China. The event features a wide range of products from various countries, including durian from Thailand, coffee from Rwanda, and rice from Cambodia. Over 20 countries and 60 representatives from international organizations are participating in the fair, with Cambodia being the guest country of honor.
Exhibition Highlights
The Cambodian national pavilion boasts a modern exhibition design inspired by traditional Cambodian architecture. It covers an area of approximately 260 square meters and showcases products from four leading agricultural enterprises. Visitors can explore a variety of items, including cashews, dried mangos, pineapples, rice, pepper, and more.
The Pakistani pavilion is another noteworthy exhibition space, displaying diverse products such as rice, tea, biscuits, chocolate, and saffron. Pakistani businessman Muhammad Waqas expressed the importance of the Chinese market for Pakistan and the strong bilateral relations between the two countries. The pavilion aims to establish valuable wholesale partnerships and secure significant orders during the winter trade fair.
In addition, 16 companies from Malaysia have come together to form the Malaysia Promas International Business Society pavilion. They are presenting Malaysia’s distinctive products, including coffee and edible bird’s nests. Chey Ming Soon, the director of a Malaysian bird’s nest processing factory, emphasized the immense potential of the Chinese market. He discussed his successful participation in the China International Import Expo and expressed his desire to find partners and retailers at the winter trade fair.

Henry Robertson, representing an Australian agricultural company, remarked on the impressive scale and professionalism of the trade fair. He expressed confidence in the Chinese market and highlighted the significant growth opportunities it presents. Robertson sees the fair evolving into a more international event in the future.
Trade Fair Details
The winter trade fair spans four days, beginning on Thursday and concluding on Sunday. The exhibition hall encompasses approximately 80,000 square meters and features a wide range of product categories, including fruits and vegetables, grains and oils, tea, coffee, livestock, aquaculture, agricultural technologies, and cross-border e-commerce.
