The government has announced plans to host a nationwide pension promotion fair in order to encourage more people to participate in the pension scheme. The fair will be held in 64 districts across eight divisions, with the aim of addressing any concerns and attracting people from all walks of life.
To kick off this initiative, the National Pension Authority (NPA) will be organizing a fair in the Rajshahi division on April 19th. The event will take place at the Haji Muhammad Mohsin Government High School premises in Rajshahi city. The fair will be inaugurated by Mohammad Tofazzel Hossain Miah, the Principal Secretary of the Prime Minister’s Office, who will be attending as the chief guest.
The fair will feature a total of 70 stalls representing various institutions. In addition, there will be booths from Sonali Bank, Agrani, City, and BRAC Bank to facilitate financial transactions. The local administration will also be providing assistance to ensure the smooth running of the fair.
This pension promotion fair aims to create awareness among the public about the benefits of participating in the pension scheme. By providing a platform for people to learn more and address any concerns, the government hopes to encourage wider participation and ensure that people from all backgrounds can benefit from this important initiative.
