The aim of the festival, as stated by Ambassador Dr. Yousaf Junaid, was to strengthen the culinary bonds between Pakistan and Turkiye and to share the exceptional quality and rich heritage of Pakistani cuisine with the Turkish community. Chef Ali Hassan from Pakistan and Chef Yunus Coskun from Turkiye joined forces to showcase traditional and innovative recipes using the finest ingredients from both countries. In their speeches, the chefs divulged the culinary techniques and secrets behind some of Pakistan and Turkiye’s most beloved dishes.

One of the festival highlights was the tasting stations, where guests had the opportunity to sample a splendid selection of rice-based delicacies from Pakistan and Turkiye. The menu included favorites such as biryani, chicken pulao, zarda (sweet rice), kheer (rice pudding), egg fried rice, vegetable rice, dolma, sarma, icli pilav, etli nohutlu pilav, pirinc salatasi, and tavuklu nohutlu pilav.
