International investors have expressed keen interest in investing in Pakistan’s top real estate developer, the Defence Housing Authority (DHA), during the recently held International Property Show (IPS) 2024 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

Taking place from February 27 to 29, the event featured the Pakistan Pavilion, which showcased the diverse and lucrative real estate opportunities in Pakistan, with a particular focus on DHA. This provided international investors with a unique chance to explore the country’s real estate offerings.

Kiran Malik, a popular actor, shared her thoughts on the event in a video posted on DHA’s Facebook page. She mentioned that the response from people has been overwhelmingly positive, and they have shown great interest and support in DHA’s projects. Malik emphasized that this is especially significant for Pakistanis, given the challenges the country is facing.

Additionally, several memorandums of understanding (MoUs) were signed during the three-day IPS event. Representatives from the DHA informed Malik that they are optimistic about attracting investments from these investors.

It is projected that Pakistan’s real estate market will reach a value of $2.11 trillion by 2024, with residential properties accounting for $1.49 trillion. With a projected annual growth rate of 7%, the market is expected to further expand to $2.77 trillion by 2028.

The interest shown by international investors in Pakistan’s real estate sector highlights the growing confidence in the country’s economic potential. This presents a promising opportunity for both local and international investors to capitalize on the growth of Pakistan’s real estate market.
