Both leaders exchanged warm Eid greetings and expressed sincere wishes for peace, prosperity, and unity for the people of Pakistan and Turkiye. They emphasized the strong and historical relations between the two nations and reiterated their commitment to enhancing bilateral cooperation.
During the conversation, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and President Erdogan discussed the importance of solidarity and support. They reaffirmed their unwavering commitment to stand by each other on their core national interests. They also called for peace in Palestine, highlighting the significance of regional stability and the resolution of conflicts through diplomatic means.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif took the opportunity to invite President Erdogan to visit Pakistan as soon as possible, with the aim of convening the 7th session of the High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council in the near future. This visit would further strengthen bilateral ties and foster closer collaboration between the two countries across various sectors.
