Pakistani Companies Stand Out at SIAL Shanghai Exhibition

Nine prominent Pakistani companies specializing in logistics, rice mills, frozen meals, and a variety of fruits, juices, pink salt products, candies, snacks, and dried fruits made a significant impact at the 2024 Salon International De L’Alimentation (SIAL) in Shanghai. From May 28 to 30, the exhibition attracted more than 5,000 exhibitors from 75 countries, displaying over 350,000 innovative and unique food and beverage products from around the globe.
The Pakistani companies showcased at the event aimed to highlight the country’s rich agricultural heritage and its growing capabilities in food processing and logistics. In the rice sector, Kumar Kewlani, a representative of a renowned rice mill, expressed his satisfaction in exporting rice to China since the opening of the market.
