Pakistan’s Ambassador to Azerbaijan Holds Meeting with FPCCI President
Ambassador of Pakistan to Azerbaijan, Bilal Hayee, recently visited the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) Regional office in Lahore to meet with President FPCCI Irfan Iqbal Sheikh. During the meeting, Bilal Hayee announced that Azerbaijan has eliminated the duty on importing rice from Pakistan, making it a lucrative market for Pakistani rice exporters. He also highlighted the high demand for pharmaceutical products in Azerbaijan and encouraged Pakistani exporters to focus on this sector to boost exports.
Both Pakistan and Azerbaijan expressed their interest in promoting bilateral trade and economic cooperation. The ambassador emphasized the immense potential of Pakistani pharmaceutical companies in the Azerbaijani market.

He suggested that Azerbaijan could benefit from Pakistan’s textiles, fruits, rice, surgical goods, pharmaceuticals, and IT expertise at competitive rates.
