Kp Govt Forms Health Sector Task Force to Implement Reforms
A Task Force has been established in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, under the leadership of Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, with the goal of reforming the health sector in the region. The Task Force consists of 10 members, all of whom are post-doctoral graduates abroad. One of the members is Dr. Nizam Ud Din, an MD Diplomate American Board Medicine Consultant.
The main objective of the Task Force is to bring about positive changes in the health system by providing recommendations for its development along modern lines. Additionally, the Task Force will address various issues in government hospitals, including the upgrade and improvement of medical equipment, facilities, and management.
One of the key responsibilities of the Task Force is to assess the requirements for equipment and facilities in health facilities and secure the necessary funds for their upgrade. Moreover, the Task Force will introduce modern systems and technologies to enhance the overall health system. It will also address any other issues deemed necessary by the Task Force.
The members of the Task Force include Dr. Nizam Uddin, a Medicine Consultant, Dr. Jamal Fazal Rabi, a Vascular Surgeon, Dr. Muhammad Waqar Khattak, a Nephrologist, Dr. Ashfaq Ullahg, Psychiatrist Professor Dr. Aftab Alam Khan, Dr. Fattahullah Khan, Maaz Bin Badshah, an Interventional Gastroenterologist, Dr. Sharif Uz Zaman Khan, a Medicine Consultant, and Dr. Muhammad Amjad Khan.
This initiative will play a crucial role in improving the healthcare sector in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, ensuring better medical services, and enhancing the overall well-being of the people.
