Faisalabad Commodity Rates Re-established

The District Price Control Committee in Faisalabad has announced new prices for essential commodities to benefit the general public. These revised prices include various food items such as rice, grains, lentils, flour, and meat.

As per the spokesperson of the district administration, the new prices for white grain in wholesale will be Rs271 per kg and Rs285 per kg in retail. The price for black grain (farmi) is set at Rs200 per kg in wholesale and Rs210 per kg in retail. Meanwhile, black grain (desi) will be sold at Rs190-200 per kg. The prices for daal grains (farmi) and daal grains (desi) are set at Rs200-210 per kg and Rs180-190 per kg respectively. Daal moong (unwashed) will be priced between Rs236-250 per kg, while daal mash (washed) will be sold for Rs480-500 per kg, and daal mash (unwashed) for Rs460-475 per kg. The prices for daal masoor (farmi) and daal masoor (desi) are set at Rs278-288 per kg and Rs302-312 per kg respectively. The price of basin is fixed between Rs185-299 per kg.

In terms of rice, the prices for basmati super kernel new are set at Rs298-305 per kg, while basmati super kernel old will be sold for Rs300-319 per kg. Additionally, rice ire will be available for Rs137 per kg in wholesale and Rs142 per kg in retail.

Other essential commodities such as wheat flour, milk, yogurt, and meat also have revised prices. The 20-kg bag of wheat flour is priced at Rs2,790, while the 10-kg bag is set at Rs1,399. Milk is priced at Rs140 per kg, yogurt at Rs150 per kg, mutton at Rs1,400 per kg in the city and Rs1,300 per kg in tehsils, beef at Rs700 per kg in the city and Rs650 per kg in tehsils. The prices for roti, roti khameri, and nan are set at Rs15, Rs18, and Rs20 each respectively.

It’s important to note that the prices of fruits and vegetables are determined on a daily basis to reflect market conditions.
