Rumors Circulate About Dawood Ibrahim’s Critical Health

In recent days, speculation has been swirling in India and Pakistan regarding the health of notorious terrorist Dawood Ibrahim Kaskar. Reports suggest that Ibrahim, who has been on the run from authorities for years, is currently “poisoned and critical” in a hospital located in Karachi. These rumors have intensified as his 68th birthday approaches on December 26.

While rumors initially sparked in Mumbai, local law enforcement and intelligence agencies have denied any knowledge of the situation. However, they assure the public that they are closely monitoring reports originating from their neighboring country. Meanwhile, Pakistani media has taken an interest in the matter. Some social media posts claim that internet services, Facebook, and other platforms experienced disruptions after news about Ibrahim’s deteriorating health began to circulate.

Authorities in Mumbai and New Delhi have refrained from commenting on the situation, asserting that such reports often emerge but are typically false alarms. Nevertheless, India considers Ibrahim to be one of the most wanted terrorists, and apprehending him is a high priority. Their reasons include his alleged involvement in multiple crimes, terrorist acts, and narcotics activities primarily in Mumbai but also elsewhere in the country.

One of the key cases against Ibrahim is his suspected role in the March 12, 1993, Mumbai serial blasts. This attack, considered the worst-ever terror strike in India, claimed the lives of 267 individuals, surpassing the death toll of the November 26, 2008, terror attacks that targeted the country’s commercial capital and resulted in 166 casualties.

The arrested brothers of Ibrahim have previously disclosed to Maharashtra Police that he has been a permanent resident of Karachi for about seven years. He reportedly resides in a luxurious bungalow in the upscale Sadar suburb, heavily guarded for security reasons.

In recent years, Ibrahim has been battling depression following his son Moin Nawaz’s decision to pursue a spiritual path and become a preacher. This choice has raised concerns about the future of Ibrahim’s criminal empire and legacy.
