China Agriculture Trade Fair Showcases Diverse Array of Products
The 26th China (Hainan) International Winter Trade Fair for Tropical Agricultural Products, currently underway in Haikou, the capital of China’s Hainan province, has attracted visitors with its wide range of products. The fair features products from over 20 countries, including durian from Thailand, coffee from Rwanda, and rice from Cambodia.
This year, Cambodia is the guest country of honor, and their national pavilion covers an area of approximately 260 square meters. Four leading agricultural enterprises from Cambodia have showcased cashews, dried mangos, pineapples, rice, pepper, and other agricultural products. Svay Nakry, Under Secretary of State with the Ministry of Commerce of Cambodia, emphasized the strong partnership between China and Cambodia, with China being Cambodia’s largest trading partner.
The Pakistani pavilion showcases various products such as rice, tea, biscuits, chocolate, and saffron. Pakistani businessman Muhammad Waqas expressed the value Pakistan places on the Chinese market and the desire to strengthen business cooperation between the two countries.
Malaysia Promas International Business Society Highlights Malaysian Products
The Malaysian pavilion at the trade fair features 16 companies exhibiting distinctive Malaysian products, including coffee and edible bird’s nests. Chey Ming Soon, the director of a Malaysian bird’s nest processing factory, attended the fair for the first time, hoping to find partners and retailers. He recognized the huge potential of the Chinese market, given its large population and strong demand.
The China (Hainan) International Winter Trade Fair for Tropical Agricultural Products offers a platform for global products to enter the Chinese market and discover new business opportunities. The fair covers approximately 80,000 square meters and includes various product categories such as fruits and vegetables, grains and oils, tea, coffee, livestock, aquaculture, agricultural technologies, and cross-border e-commerce.
Many participants at the fair expressed their confidence in the Chinese market and its potential for growth. The event provides an excellent opportunity for international cooperation and business expansion.
