China to Help Pakistan Enhance Crop Growth with Advanced Farming Techniques
China to Provide Hybrid Seeds to Pakistan for Crop Production Boost

Liu Jianming, Deputy Party Secretary and Deputy Political Commissar of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, made the announcement during a visit to the head office of Guard Agricultural Research and Services.
The objective behind this initiative is twofold: to achieve robust crop production to meet the escalating demands of the textile industry and to earn essential foreign exchange. Liu emphasized the goal of enhanced crop production through modern mechanized agricultural farming.
China will also collaborate with Pakistan in the production of cotton hybrid seeds, including varieties like sunflower, maize, sesame, and others. Additionally, China will share its successful experience with “Water Saving Technology.”
Liu expressed appreciation for the research activities of Guard Agriculture Research and extended an invitation to the organization to visit China for further collaboration. He highlighted the importance of leveraging innovation to address the challenges facing Pakistan’s agricultural sector.
