Patna, Feb 2 (PTI) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Wednesday said the state government has already a made record procurement of 32.61 lakh metric tonne (MT) of paddy from 4.50 lakh farmers through Primary Agriculture Credit Societies (PACS) in the current season.

The government is likely to transfer a record Rs 2.7 lakh crore to farmers for procurement of rice and paddy under the minimum support price (MSP) operation by the Food Corporation of India (FCI) and state agencies in 2021-22 crop year (October-September).
