Downward Trend in Rice Prices: Prices Reduced by Rs60 per kg

In recent news, the prices of rice in Pakistan have witnessed a significant decrease, putting an end to artificial price hikes. Following in the footsteps of the wheat and flour industries, the price of rice has dropped by approximately Rs60 per kg over the past two months.

This decrease in price can be attributed to the effective policies implemented by the Punjab government. As a result, various types of rice have become more affordable, with prices decreasing by Rs50 to Rs60 per kg.

Currently, Super Kainat rice is being sold in the market at Rs280 per kg, reflecting a decrease of Rs60. Similarly, Super Basmati rice is now available at Rs210 per kg, cheaper by Rs50 per kg. Additionally, Super Kernal rice can be purchased for Rs270 per kg, a decrease of Rs50.

Market sources indicate that the price of rice has been steadily declining over the past two months. This can be attributed to a successful rice harvest during the last season and the implementation of effective government policies.

Overall, the decrease in rice prices is a positive development for consumers, offering them more affordable options. With the artificial inflation eliminated, individuals can now enjoy the benefits of a better rice market.
