Gold prices decline, marking a significant drop
The price of gold in the bullion market experienced a decline on Wednesday, resulting in a decrease of Rs600. According to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association, gold is currently being sold at Rs215,500 per tola. Similarly, a 10-gram block of gold is now priced at Rs184,756 after a dip of Rs515.
This drop in domestic prices can be attributed to a decrease of $2 per ounce in the global market, bringing the value of gold down to $2055.
In recent news, the price of 24 karat gold per tola had increased by Rs700 and was sold at Rs216,100 on Tuesday. This marked a rise from its previous sale price of Rs215,400.
Additionally, the price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold rose by Rs600 to Rs185,271 from Rs184,671. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 22 karat gold increased to Rs169,832 from Rs169,282, as reported by the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association.
