In a successful joint operation, the Border Security Force (BSF) and Punjab Police have recovered a broken Pakistani drone in Ferozepur, Punjab. The drone was found near Village Sanke, and a thorough search operation led to its discovery in a farming field near Village Rao ke Hitar. This incident highlights the persistent attempts by smugglers to transport narcotics using drones, but their efforts were thwarted by the coordinated efforts of the BSF and Punjab Police. In a separate operation near the Tarn Taran border, multiple packets of heroin and a drone battery were also recovered.
**Arms Smugglers Arrested in Amritsar, 11 Pistols Recovered**
Authorities in Amritsar, India, have made significant progress in tackling arms smuggling activities. Four individuals have been apprehended for obtaining financial support from individuals in the United States to purchase weapons and ammunition. The Counter Intelligence wing of the Amritsar police seized a total of 16 pistols, ammunition, and cash during the operation. The arrested individuals were part of a gang involved in smuggling weapons from Madhya Pradesh to sell in Punjab. The investigation is ongoing to dismantle the entire network responsible for the procurement and distribution of arms.
**ED Conducts Searches on Rice Millers in Chhattisgarh**
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) is taking strong action against corruption and irregularities in the rice industry. In a recent development, the ED conducted searches at 10 premises in Chhattisgarh, including those of a local BJP leader and rice millers. These searches are part of an ongoing investigation into an alleged scam related to custom milling of paddy. It is suspected that rice worth Rs 125 crore, designated for the poor, was illicitly sold in the market. The ED is also actively investigating other scams within the state.

In another important incident, the Border Security Force (BSF) troops successfully recovered a drone during a search operation near the India-Pakistan international border in Amritsar district. Following a tip-off about a flying object, the search operation was conducted in Bharopal village. The recovered drone is a Chinese-made quadcopter model DJI Mavic 3 Classic. Although no narcotics were found and no arrests were made during this operation, it demonstrates the ongoing vigilance and determination of security forces in safeguarding the borders.
